I went to pick up a friends at this hotel the week after I just saw 1408, the second floor is where the most activity is, also (like the movie) word is there is one room which the hotel wont let guest stay in, maybe to much 'weird' things happen.

jlynne, that would be room 202 that you are thinking of. I have posted a couple pictures of the door to room 202 entitled "spirit lady searching'. I clearly see the face of a woman as though she is looking through the door. I had gone into that room once while a maid was cleaning and snapped some photos... lots of orbs. They do rent the room out however I dont think it is one of the first ones they choose to let people stay in. Its a beautiful hotel eh.

I couldn't believe for beautiful the hotel was, so grand and old, I felt like I was walking through the past, I told my husband I'd love to spend a few nights there, we'll see. My brother-in-law, his girlfriend & another friend went to the hotel, was fooling around and somehow got to the part of the hotel that isn't being used (the upper floors maybe) said that the elevator stopped midway between floors so the had to crawl up to get to the floor, wer're walking around in the dark, got really spooked out, their lucky they didn't get caught up there.
