Haaa..... I can't hide anymore...on a serious note this picture is special...my grandad past over...I cant remember how long but it wasn't long...the cap i'm wearing was his it was a charity cap (to do with the war) he was on the beaches at normidy (France). he was always into bird watching and taught me a lot about birds and the last time he was in hospital I showed him a picture of a wild eagle owl I caught on camera where I live (very rare).... He loved it..... and out of the blue Helen said there is a guy next door at the garden centre with an eagle owl.....well thats what happened

I love this picture of Steve and Helen. clapping!!! Very wow to hold that eagle owl (I didn't know there was such a thing) Its coloring is rather rainbow-ish,,, This picture is a tribute to your Grandad Steve ... what a treasure

Lovely bird! Wow, I held an owl a few times, it was remarkable. Very beautiful birds. You look well Helen, as do you Steve. I really appreciate the history behind the cap.
